Employees provident Fund Organization has started the nominee and declaration from the first contribution ever. At the time of PF account opening, all the information should be declared about nomination in form 2 itself. For example, Under EPF scheme the family of the contributor consisting of Wife, Dependent parents and children etc are declared as nominees. But only one person was considered as the beneficiary. The EPF contributor has every right to change his nominee at any point of time. The applicant must send Form 2 filled to EPFO by his employer.
Check Different types of EPF Nomination forms:
PF Form 2:
General Provident Fund Nomination form used to decide the Nominee to pay the provident fund benefits and money.
PF Form 11:
This application form was used to declare the employment status and his or her employer details. It is a legal proof of employee contribution towards the provident fund from employer.
Provident Fund Form 9:
This application was used to update the latest employer details while he or she sign up for new employment in a registered corporation under EPF act.
Details required for filling EPF Nomination form 2:
This application form was available to download from the EPFO website directly. The employer will also give the Form 2 to declare the nominee.
Name of the family members and dependent.
Father or Husband name.
Applicants Date of Birth.
Nominee date of birth.
Address of the nominee and member’s relationship details. Date of birth of members, Guardians details if the beneficiary is minor.
Share of the provident fund allotted to the member or each person. Address and employers details, Signature of employer and authorized officer.
For filling PF Form 11 and Form 9 the same details are enough. But the KYC details and bank account should be mentioned with attached document photocopies.
KYC details needed for EPF Nomination form 9:
Applicants need to give his or her identification details in the following list:
Aadhar UID card.
Government issued ID card.
Employee details from employer etc.
Communication details such as Mobile number linked to PF account, aadhar card. email id.
Bank account details with KYC finished such as Account number, IFSC code. If the employee is an NRI working with government agencies they are given separate option to give the form.
