Employees Provident Fund contribution for pensioners is separated now. New guidelines and rules have come into effect for the Provident Fund Monthly Contribution in their pension amount. But with latest facilities pensioners can manage their Provident Fund account. The DDO, NSDL, and CRA are now mandated the linking & registering PRAN cad. PRAN Card means Permanent Retirement Account Number.

Check Online procedure for PRAN Card application form:

Central and state government employees are given the Pension after their retirement. The contribution of PF every month was mandatory even they are retired. PRAN card is issued by National Securities Depository Limited. Each pensioner must get his latest PRAN from NSDL website itself. Application form must be registered pertaining to their Administration Officer, Central Record Keeping Agency. The pensioner must register their PRAN with Drawing & Disbursing Office (DDO). Age limit to get the PRAN application is 18 to 60 years.

Online PRAN Card Application form:

Pensioners PRAN Online application registration form has five sections.

  1. Section A has Subscribers Personal details.
  2. Section B has Employment and employer details.
  3. Section C has Nominee details of EPF account Holder.
  4. Section D has the scheme related details.
  5. Section E has T-PIN and I-PIN declaration details.

In above sections second one is filled by the DDO officer. Remaining details must be furnished by subscriber. Already pension account registered users must fill their old detail to get New PRAN card. People with existing account need to submit fresh application duly registered to CRA also. Main difference between last and latest NPS is the pension amount finalized after Last pay drawn by the employee. But now both employer and employee must contribute a part of their Pension amount.

Below details must be filled in the online or offline application.

  • Personal and employment details of current day.
  • Bank account details of Pensioner to declare with in six months.

How to track PRAN Card application status online?

Application registration fees is 50 rupees. After online application form is successfully filled, Download the copy and paste pensioner photograph and forward the application to CRA. After the application is sent to CRA, you will get option to track the PRAN status.

Go to NDSL website @ https://cra-nsdl.com/CRA/pranCardStatusInput.do

Go to New Register PRAN and enter the PRAN serial number available at the time of application.

Steps to setup PRAN CARD contribute to NPS:

Login to your ENPS page @ https://enps.nsdl.com/eNPS/InitialExistingUser.html

Fill your PRAN number and Official Date of birth. An OTP will be sent by ENPS to registered mobile number & Email account. Fill the OTP in below field for validation.

Pensioners can contribute to Tier 1, Tier 2 by using their internet banking details or credit card.
